100% Gluten Free in Edinburgh — Gluten Interrupted

Edinburgh is stacked with gluten free options these days, but there's something extra special about the places where you don't have to ask a single question, no "can the kitchen do a gluten free version," no double checking the fryer, nothing. These are the spots that are 100% gluten free, full stop, so you can just walk in and order whatever you fancy off the menu.

100% gluten free food stall Tupi never disappoints, grab yourself a sweet or savoury crepe (both amazing) and wander around The Meadows. If you are looking for gluten free streetfood during the festival make this your one stop shop.

Ok, I said 100% gluten free, 3 Birds is 99.9% gluten free, the only thing they have with gluten is bread, which can be changed and everything is incredibly safe. Call to book ahead, the menu is varied, from steak to curry, to slow cooked meats with lots of vegan, veggie and dairy free options too.

Nikki's Bakehouse is run by a coeliac and is 100% gluten free. It's a proper cafe, morning rolls galore with a selection of cakes that will blow your mind. I tried the custard slice and it brought a tear TO MY EYE. It’s out of town, but WORTH IT.
